The Freedom Force VS the 3rd Reich mod- MATRIX RELOADED - Crashes?

Hello, so I have downloaded all the mods that I could find of Freedom Force VS the 3rd Reich and the original game Freedom Force, I've actually bought the original game from 2002 in the store back in the day, and I do recall playing skirmishes and a few missions but I never did finish it.

I later got the expansion FFvt3R and I did finish its campaign - the main issue with the first game was that it refused to run on Windows 7 when I tried it.

Alright, so there exists a MATRIX mod for the first game based on the first movie, and then two sequels based on the 2nd and third movies for the expansion FFvt3R - Reloaded and Revolutions.

I don't know what the issue is but unlike the third mod which works perfectly both in the Rumble Room and in the campaign, the 2nd mod just crashes with an error-message as soon as I am trying to launch the campaign.

I get an error that a file is missing, and when loading a saved game I get another error message about a Trainman missing, but this guy is in the folder, and the other message was entirely different.

I would like to play the 2nd mod Reloaded based on my favorite Matrix movie the 2nd movie, but I fail to get past this error.

The 3rd mod based on the 3rd movie works without issues though.

I am using the GOG version, I do not own the Steam release, I do own the old DVD but it fails to launch on Windows 10.

GOG works but also has issues with some mods like the FFX3.3 mod which crashes randomly during gameplay. I've read it could be due to hardcoded installation paths that differ from the original DVD-version - I'm thinking maybe Matrix Reloaded is crashing for the same reason?

No idea really.

So Reloaded crashes as soon as I click "start campaign" on the loading screen, and the Revolutions mod loads fine.

I'm not a moder of this game so I have no technical skills and know nothing about the inner workings of the game.

I have some experience playing the game and modifying skins which I did manually before the advent of AI.

So I've temporarily uploaded the mod on this link for anyone who wants to help me solve the issue, as I can't play the campaign currently - I used a .exe from a random Google Drive that I've already forgotten about, and the mod installed the same way as all the other working mods, but unlike the others this one crashes on loading the campaign.

That's the mod, currently I suspect that it will crash for anybody.

My links are temporary until the issue is fixed or until I no longer have the space for it, as I'm only paying for extra Google Drive space until late March - then I will have to delete lots of stuff from my drive.

The space increased from 15gb to 200gb, by paying 4 dollars a month, but on April 4th the price will increase a lot as this is a "trial period" - and I'm not gonna continue after that.

If it helps the working mod is very similar to Reloaded, but with a new campaign and some new heroes - maybe it would be easier to tell why Reloaded is crashing if you can check the working Revolutions mod?

The folders I'm linking to are the installed folders, the short-cuts may need to be fixed.

So if any moder here could look at both mods and tell me why Reloaded is crashing but Revolutions is not - that would be great - Thanks.

Howdy Mr Nygren, and welcome to the forums!  From your description, it sounds like the campaign file itself is a problem for the one, and maybe there's some problem with the trainman character template in the other.  I'm pretty busy at the moment, but I'll try to find some time to check it out in the next week or so if nobody beats me to it.
