Hey guys,

Sorry for bothering you all, extremely new to this community and game. Matter of fact only discovered it today because I was specifically looking for mods related to DC comics and found this gold mine. However, I'm not sure how I would install the mod. I downloaded the DCUG files from the MODDB and have the game on steam, but apart from that I have no idea what to do after that.

Hope you guys can help and if not that's cool too!

Welcome to the forums.  First you will need the FFX addon for FFvtTR.

Make sure it installs to the directory where your steam version is installed. After that install the DCUG into the same base game directory and you should be okay.

Be aware that there are individual start files for the DCUG content for each segment of the mod. It only starts one with the install, you have to start each mini campaign seperately. There should be shortcuts in the DCUG folder after install.

Feel free to ask more questions if you have problems.

Hey thanks for the help successfully downloaded FFX in the steam directory, but when you mean install DCUG in that same directory you mean extract the compressed file in there?

WyldFyre

Yes. Not in the FFX folder but the main install folder. When finished there should be a DCUG folder next to the FFX folder.

Hope that helps.

Hey man,

I know this is pretty dumb but I've done everything and it still doesn't work. I downloaded FFX 3.3 and extracted it in the folder. Extracted DCUG in the same folder. Not sure if there's anything I'm missing or doing wrong.

Here's an imgur link to what my game directory looks like if it helps:

In the DCUG folder there is a file called "Launch the DCUG (steam)". This is the shortcut to launch the game in the steam version. If it doesn't work make sure it points to your steam installation.

The included readme file details how to play the different campaigns included in the game. The exe files may give virus warnings but these can be ignored.
