"Exit, Stage Left!"

More from the "Yogi Bear Show"

After Yogi got popular enough to get his own show, they created two new cartoons to go with him.

The middle part of the show was "Snagglepuss" - A pink mountain lion that usually just tries to get along with everybody. Originally seen in a some episodes on "The Quickdraw McGraw" show, popular enough to get his own cartoon.

Hunted in some episodes by "Major Minor" who wants him for a trophy.

Known for his catchphrases "Exit, Stage Left!", and "Heavens to Murgatroyd!"

Snagglepuss and Major Minor - meshes and skins by Cranlox.

Rifle from a previous import.

Yakky Doodle

The third cartoon of the "Yogi Bear" show.

Yakky is a cut little duck, almost unchanged from the one seen in MGM's "Tom and Jerry" cartoons. He was seen in a few cartoons on "The Huckleberry Hound Show" and "The Quickdraw Mcgraw Show" before he got his own cartoon.

In his own cartoon, he is protected by a friendly bulldog (friendly to Yakky anyway) from various problems, usually being eaten by Fibber Fox or Alphy Gator.

Chopper and Fibber Fox - meshes and skins by Cranlox

Yakky - ripped from the Gamecube Tom and Jerry game "War of the Whiskers"

Doghouse and bow from the models resource

Fence from a previous import

Super Friends - the original 1973 line-up

Thanks to pressure from some parents groups, superhero cartoons were removed from Saturday mornings in the 60's, and the Super Friends were among the first to return in 1973.

Unlike the previous shows, the Super Friends didn't fight evil villains and monsters, but instead misunderstood scientists and aliens that really just needed a helping hand. Positive messages abounded.

I had some fun with this one, trying to find matches to the show's look for the characters as close as was possible. Since there are many choices for these guys, it took some research.

I might do the lineup of the later seasons as well, sometime in the future.

Wendy. Marvin, and Wonderdog - new meshes and skins from Cranlox

Superman - Superman Ren. Skin by C6

Batman - Batman Classic C6 - Skin by C6

Robin - Robin 66 JJ - skin by Gryphon

Aquaman - Aquaman Classic 2 C6 - skin by C6

Wonder Woman - SF YL - 1980's skin by Kenn X. Minor kitbash to color the wrist bands blue and remove the white stripes from the boots.

WyldFyre

Without a doubt, my favorite Saturday morning cartoon. Casey Kasem doing a myriad of voices and the misadventures of Wonderdog always kept my little self fascinated. I did prefer the later series with Firestorm et. al. and the later shows with Darkseid. I never liked the Wonder Twins as much as Marvin and Wendy, but loved watching them on Saturdays.

So many great memories you are bringing back. Thank you for these wonderful scenes.

And that's why I'm doing them. For myself and the few others left here. Hopefully people like reading the backstories I put up with them as well

Coming up on the two year anniversary of the first one, and now the 80th complete to go with it.

Lord of the Rings - On the Doorstep.

The Doors of Durin

Standing at the entrance of the Mines of Moria, Gandalf tries to remember the words to open the magically sealed doors.

The Fellowship of the Ring - All previous imports

The Watcher in the water - Previous import

Bill the Pony - Imported from Empire Earth 3.

The pool  - Previous import.

Stone arch - Imported from the Rigmodels site.

I like this one. It's a little dark, but came together well
