Jonny Quest - probably my favorite classic cartoon ever. Besides the great stories and extra detail in the animation for what was a prime-time series, it has one of the best theme songs ever.

Of all the episodes, "Monster in the Monastery" is one of my top five. Steve Rude did an alternate cover for DC's "Future Quest" comic and I used that as my base.

I couldn't get the narrow cliff path in, but everything else came pretty close to the artwork.

Along with the Thor DD, probably one of my favorite dioramas so far.

Jonny and Hadji - Heads were created in the Sims2 CAS with some editing in Blender afterwards. Bodies were done in the Sims3 CAS.

The yetis were done for me by Dean on a male_heavy mesh.

The flashlight, jeep and boulder are from the Models Resource site.

The rope bridge is from the Sketchfab site.

The icy rocks are from the "Zoo Tycoon" game

Hopefully these dioramas are bringing some good memories to others as well.

One of my favorite Abbott and Costello movies as well. Your wolfman skin was perfect for it.

Oh, thank you.

Popeye meets Sindbad

Fleischer Studios had Popeye in the beginning and they decided to go all out in 1936. Popeye meets Sindbad was twice as long as a standard cartoon, in full color, and highlighted a new scrolling background that they were working on getting copyrighted.

It starts out as the mighty Sindbad (Bluto, of course) singing about how great he is on his island of monsters. Seeing Popeye and crew on a ship, he orders a Roc to sink the ship and bring him Olive back. On reaching the island, Popeye confronts Sindbad and his monsters while Wimpy spends most of th story chasing after a duck with a might grinder, I guess to make duck burgers with.

The story ends with your standard can of spinach saving the day and after the final battle, all the monsters cheer for Popeye.

I think this is another one that appeared better in my head than it came out in the end.

I don't know how many of us can say this, but... "I was waiting for it!" hahaha
Ever since you mentioned you had it in mind and needed some things, I imagined something similar to this digital diorama. Great work!

I don't know, I like it! I might suggest moving the models a bit closer together to more mimic the way they appear in animation, but otherwise Huzzah!!
