How often does everyone play FF/FFTTR in 2020?

I was just curious to see how often the other members of this forum play this game. I've only had both games for barely a month and have gotten a lot of play out of it. There are so many mods for this game, it is insane but I have mainly indulged the DCU mod for  :ff: and the Marvel Adventures mod for  :ffvstr:. Along the way I've added a few more individual character mods. What I like about the game is that it scratches that itch for superhero mayhem while also having the option to play for short bursts of time in the Rumble Room. Gosh the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games could have used this mode.

So I am playing at least every few days. Like Call of Duty, it is a game I can play for 5 minutes or more than an hour depending on the time I want to give it. I appreciate that. It is a game that can fit easily into a busy schedule so if I have a short break, I can get a few rounds in Rumble Room and then get back to my work.  So that, along with the fact the games are fantastic to begin with, make this a game I will continually play going forward.

Not much for me but not much for any games. Or any entertainment. I have sort of a schedule for everything, adulthood has all sorts of obligations of course. That said since one of my primary hobbies is this game I probably load it up more than any since I need to see the results in game. I like taking hero files people have made though and just watching characters duke it out, it's like reading a fight sequence in a comic book to me. Else it's been awhile since I really had quality gaming time, I keep thinking about it but the next thing comes up. Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 was the last time I tried to go full in and live on my sofa but well, the bugs and glitches overwhelmed into putting that away for good.

Pretty much like like Alice said. Usually I'll get the urge to make some heroes or villains or whatever and just mess around for a week making them and watching them fight. Then I go off and do another game, but usually I come back to this game within a week or two for a little.

This game's just easy to pick-up and put down. No real investment required like some games.

It is interesting that you two actually do simulations and watch the A.I. do the battles. I may have to try that. Could be fun.

SickAlice, how do you like Lego Marvel Superheroes 2? All I know is that the game has a lot of Marvel characters in it but what is the gameplay like? Are you able to have superhero battles with characters of your choice? I've played a bit of the first Lego Marvel Superheroes.

Used to do this all the time to test my herofile "recipes".
After finishing the games and the mods of the day (about 15 yrs ago geez) - modding/skoping/skinning and watching AI fights is pretty much all I've done :)

I, like the others here, still like to do skirmish battles, its been awhile that i only do this in my 40k mod to test and balance things, however 2020 or not  :ff: remain one of the best title you could have, it is a strategy game, almost turn based...but gave you the feeling of action, also it is basically a game software in itself for the amount of things you could modify in easy ways, plus, the game have practically no loading times, it is a game for collectors who like to play a little with their freshly painted models.

I like to assemble teams of 4 crazy characters like:
dash, hawkeye, Cammy & Gandalf for example
I play ironman missions (frequently germany army) in rumble against the machine and I usually set the cell clock and take an excel of those teams.

I pretty much eat the superhero based Lego games for dinner, Star Wars ones too. I like the format and I like the genres. However like I said, at least for the Windows game it was glitched to the point of unplayable so I can't say I liked it. In fact I tried to give it a go on the new laptop to see if the video card might help but it doesn't seem to work on Windows 10.

It's cool to read how people play Freedom Force to this day. The games are truly one of a kind.

SickAlice, the only Lego game I ever completed was Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga. I didn't finish the original Lego Marvel Superheroes because other games distracted me but from what I played, it was pretty well done. I may have to give it another go since they pretty much have Lego on many popular franchises. You know, I've also played Lego Batman 2 a bit as well. But I know they also have Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic World, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and many others. Plus the games are older so I may be able to get them on a good sale. The Lego games are pretty fun, if not a bit basic. But the cool thing is that they pack their games with lots of characters, which I really like.
