Disney Infinity 2.0 (Maybe a Discussion about Disney Infinity 3.0...)

Not a gamer... but I fell for Disney Infinity hook, line and sinker.  Have the game, all the released characters, all the discs and really enjoy it.  So now that my wallet is finally recovering from it... they hit us with DI 2.0 - the Marvel Heroes editions.

POWER DISCS – New set of circular and hexagonal Power Discs will be available for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes. Circular discs will add costumes, Area of Effect attacks and team-ups. Hate to resurrect a dead post, but have you continued playing Disney Infinity? I've always wanted to play (guess I'm a sucker), but I have lacked a console to play it on. I have an AppleTV under the tree for the 25th and I ordered 3.0 with the Nimbus controller. I have been playing in the Toy Box Hub for a few days now, and I am really looking forward to this game.

I'm excited about the Star Wars aspect of 3.0, but as a long time Marvel fan I can't wait to play with the Avengers (and Spider-Man if I can ever find him at a reasonable price). I have checked out the DI forum, but they moderate so much it takes forever to have a conversation. I hadn't seen any DI conversations over here, but when I searched your post came up.

Anyway, if you are playing the game I'd love to talk about it some.

My daughter play Infinity 2.0 on the PC.  It's free and I'm not falling for that again after Skylanders..   The only downside to the PC version is you get random characters and if you want a particular hero, you would have to buy them virtually or buy the character from the store.

Hey Jey, it works the same way on iOS. We purchased some figures a few weeks ago from Best Buy and Toys R Us when they dropped their figures to $3 ea. All of which are under a tree right now, and I am playing whichever version is free. Darth Vader right now.

Now I am really looking forward to the Toy Bod expansions too.
