is there a way to erase groups of vertexes/triangles? I am trying to combine Lord Emshiddey's centaur with his Crymsin so as to have a female centaur. no reason, really...

If the vertexes are assigned to a vertex group, in edit mode you can select that group to be highlighted and then delete them. Otherwise I think you have to select them one by one with shift held down and then delete.

Also, after hitting Delete, when the drop down comes up asking what you want to delete, make sure you choose Vertices. This will take care of what you are wanting to do. Random, please correct me if this is the incorrect way to do it. I've had success the few times I've done this with some recent skopes.

Make note of the " merge vertices " function and shortcut while doing this as well. It comes in very handy when combining parts. Refer to the online Blender doc for explanation of it.
