Yeah, none of us do.  It makes no sense.  I told my wife about it last night, and she just couldn't believe it.  How is it that a discussion board for a ten year old video game gets hacked every other week?

This is why I hate people from Kurdistan. Literally 100% of them are hackers from what I've seen. Also I just found out that their country exists, why were they hiding so long?

For a moment there, i thought maybe it was my fault. I remember watching videos with the "kurdistantv" watermark the other day....

Then realized i was watching them on youtube anyway...so nah it couldn't be.

The hacker did made me google "Kurdistan".... i mean who, what , where?

Maybe it was an S.O.S. or something....

WAnt to apologize again guys.  Was out of town this weekend and the hack didn't come to my attention until Monday while I was at work (been playing catchup for the stuff I missed).

The hack was minor, the old index page was backed up.  I think that we may be targeted because of our board software more than our content.  Anyhoo, gotta get going and get some sleep.

Breaking my posting hiatus but not to sound like a conspiracy theorist or redneck you may actually be right. They may not go after particular site just ones that look like particular sites

And with a name like freedom reborn who knows what people think this place is.

But its not exactly a high-profile target. All they really accomplished was slightly annoying a few hundred people - most of whom missed the trick all together.
