And last, don't know if you're considering this for your big project or nor, but the map editor for Neverwinter 1 is very easy to use (not sure a bout NWN2) and I haven't tried it with the 3D ripper DX software, but if it worked, you could quickly build a map, capture it and export it to your project. Since NWN is mainly D&D, its mostly fantasy type items, but it would still be good for non city environments, plus there are some D20 modern things over in the neverwinter vault.

The Sims 2 with their lot builder may be another choice as well.
