Character Movement

Is there a way to make the character move around the game
without having to click on the location with the mouse?
Is there a way to have them move just by
using the left or right,up or down the arrows keys?
I know it will take some re-program but it makes for real time interaction.
Has anyone asked or figured this out yet?
