Was this an official statement? Although at this point it seems unlikely, but who knows.

Cant find any recent sources, just older stuff saying "well we are pretty sure it will come out for PC".

I mean if it does not come out I'm not playing it, not due to boycott but simply I dont own consoles and dont expect to.

Hope they release it, most rockstar pc ports have been pretty solid.

Amen to that!  I have an Xbox 360 though and am quite enjoying Red Dead Redemption.  More that I thought I would, in fact.

Yeah, it sounds right up my alley, mostly because in action games I have a thing for "low tech"

I prefer biplanes over jets with heat seaking missiles.

I prefer WW2 over laser guided artillery and night vision.

One of my favorite steam mods was that deathmatch game with muskets and sabres. Shoot... take a minute to reload.

So yeah, six shooters and horseback is more of the sort of GTA I want to play than fast cars and mac-10s.
