I actually think I went to university with the director of that film.  His sister was in my improv club.
Are we talking about the one where J.C. is kinda like a cool ladies man that kills vampires? (it's been almost 10 years so i don't remember much) I remember one scene in a junkyard, or car impound lot or something.
