I broke down and got it.  The price drop was enough to convince me.  I'm not 100% sure it will run okay on my laptop, but I'm willing to try it at that price.  AND it's not going to be a massive download.

If you have a local Walmart, you can get Site-to-Store and pay nothing for shipping.  (But I'm okay with three bucks for regular shipping.)
