Help with "Unmasked Shadow"

Hi!
I need some help with a skope. I'll use a new character for my PC Tales Mission and thought to use Unmasked Shadow, since she is from Irrational and already has a talking head. I tried to skope her and got this:


I can't remove the cape/hood around the neck myself, may some one, please, help me?

JJ's got an awesome idea for a story arc for PCT, but we need some help with his mysterious new villain!  You can see the look that we're going for on the right of the pic below (an excellent sketch by JJ).  He'll be posting a color version soon, but I thought that it might help to give this request a visual.  Help out PCT!

Great sketch. But the problem is I believe that the cape around her neck is actually a part of her body - that is to say if you remove it, there will be no collarbone/shoulders. From the looks of the lower right image you'd be better off using female_basic or a variant to skin the costume as I don't think you'll be able to get a moon insignia onto a mirrored mesh like shadow_unmaked.

You can always transfer shadow's head onto female_basic's body with nifskope too. I've done this with alchemiss' head onto shadow_unmasked body and it worked fine (until i deleted it.) All you need to do is use either shadow_unmasked or blackbird's head .nif (they're the same mesh with minor alterations.) and transfer it over to a female basic body.

If you're not in a huge hurry I could do this for you. But it wouldn't be able to get to it until the weekend. It's about 30-mins to an hours work in niskope (maybe less - I am VERY SLOW in nifskope lol.)

Right now I'd advise you to just skin the face on the shadow mesh and the costume on female_basic. I can put the pieces together for you later.

Why not use a different mesh and your art looks good to me - if you can draw it, you can skin it.

I think the current plan is to use female_basic, with a talking-head compatible head skoped on, right?  By the way, is there a male_basic talking-head for FF2 around anywhere?

That's quite nice. Perhaps you could use a VX mesh, or Tommy's new female mesh.

I'm really sorry but it looks like I won't be able to do this skope after all. My computer is officially dead and the Mac I've been saving up for isn't going to be here anytime soon. I'm really sorry John Jnr. and Benton. I'm sure there's a kind soul who could help you.

We may not need a skope...I think I may have a talking head.nif that will work.
