Does anyone have the three packs that used to be on C6's gammapatrol page? I know he updated them, but I want these original skins too

I'm guessing you weren't able to find them... Well, I was actually looking for a few skins that were hosted at that site. Electro for Beyonder's mesh, the Falcon 3-pack, 80's Wonderman, and the Vision pack specifically. If anyone can send me any of these I would appreciate it.

Please, anyone? I've made these requests before and they never get responded to. I'm not asking for something new to be made, I just want some skins that are no longer available to download.

He's looking for the old packs, buddy. NomadX, did you check any of his yahoo groups? I know he uploaded the majority of the stuff that was on GPL to his various groups (readme).

Yeah, I've checked both of those and they're the older ones. I guess my only hope is if a vet that nabbed the stuff before it went down comes along.

Let's see if these are the skins you're looking for. To tell you the truth, I'm fairly positive that's the Wonderman and the Vision pack you want, but I'm not sure about Electro.

Not to worry, you don't inconvenience me at all. Luckily, I've been ordering my skins/meshes in folders and subfolders for years, and I just need to do a quick scan every time I need something. When your FF database reaches more than a couple of GBs, you're required to keep it as tidy as possible. Of course, you're required to be an obsessive nerd to do so, but I digress...

Those are awesome Sledge. As someone who was a away from the game during the Gamma Patrol era, I've never seen those. Is there a list out there that has what was on the site or is there a chance that The Champs site might host the work from there?

I understand that AA has put all his GP stuff in his Yahoo groups, but I don't know if anyone else has done anything like that. C6's GP stuff was going to be hosted at The Toybox, but...

Yeah... I'm still filling in the blanks from the Toybox. I was literally in the middle of backing up everything on that site when it went down. I stupidly was going one at a time with the characters (backing up/making a herofile). Luckily Raygun, Herodad and others have been able to help me out when I remember a missing file but knowing there is stuff like that that I don't even know about hurts.

When GPL was going down, I knew some things could be lost forever and I kind of panicked, so I saved all of its content into a backup DVD. Therefore, I have everything that was hosted in there. However...

1) I did not include Courtnall's skins because I already had them (he was the first skinner I knew of when I started downloading FF stuff), and I have already classified my files in alphabetical order by character. So, I really don't know which of his work is from GPL, which is from his Yahoo! Groups, and which is from the Toybox. It's probable that I have all of his GPL art, though.

2) I BELIEVE I have saved all content. I'm 99% sure that's the case, but maybe a file or two are missing.

I could make a list somewhere with everything I've got, if you like. I believe Afghan Ant's GPL skins are all available at HeroForce, and the same goes with Ink's meshes.

I think the fastest way to figure out the C6 stuff is if all the files have the original dates then compare that against the Yahoo groups. Otherwise I would say screenshot the list and have one of us who wants the stuff figure it out for you.

What I did when I started downloading stuff was create files for sites when the creator was unspecified and creators when they were specified. That way if I am trying to figure out who did what I can do a simple file search and take a look at the folder the file is in and at least get a clue as to where I found it if I have it. The system isn't perfect and the fact that I have not been in the community long enough to know who is whom or how many name changes they have had, I sometimes have some problem putting the work with its actual creator.
