Gazillion Entertainment, from what I read, is an unproven start up with no games on the market at present.  They may have assembled a team of veterans across the industry, but that doesn't necessarily mean they can deliver.

And the first project?  An MMO targeted at the kiddies?  (Super Hero Squad, based on those toys you find at Toys R' Us).  I don't see it.  The revenue stream is going to have to come from ads, or tied in with toy sales like Webkinz.  Speaking as a parent, I'm not paying subscription fees for each of my kids.  Not to mention the probability that you're going to have adults mixing in with the kids, so they'll have to be on guard against predatory interactions somehow to a degree beyond what the other MMO's have to deal with.

Sounds to me like Marvel is about to strike out once again.  If they couldn't get it done with an established game company I'm not sure they can get it done with a start up.  The only advantage I can see for Marvel is less baggage and more control.

I'm a marvel zombie but until they can keep a project alive it is likely I will be playing the DC game or even more likely the Champions game.

I don't know if this will actually see day. This project has been canceled twice before.
