Long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away....Beyonder made a mesh for Yondu of the Gaurdians of the Galaxys.  Now, my inquary is this.  Is there and way to seperate his fin from his head?  On B's mesh it is on piece.  Is there and way through skoping that it can be detached and made into 2 pieces?

Thanks in advanced

first impression, wouldn't it be easier to take the parts ya want and put them on a diff archer mesh?

yes it can be done.. i dont know if you know about triagles in skope
it going to take sometime to remove the triagles you dont want and save the ones you want..
click on the mesh
you want to remove everything from the mesh but the item yo want to keep
then scroll to the NiTriShapeData on the same mesh
open it up youll see a few columns like Vertices, Normals, Triangles, (my Best Friends)
open the triangle and pay attetion to the display screen so you dont remove the wrong triangle..change the numbers to zero on the triangles you dont want..and leave the ones want alone..this will take alot of time.
after you completed your task click on the mesh it self with you right mouse buttom
go to
mesh/ remove duplicat vertices
repeat it again but
go to
mesh/ remove unused vertices
save your done
hope this helps  ;)

I spoke to Zivon in messenger and he's wanting to remove that fin that goes from the head all the way to the base of the spine... For that to work that fin is going to need to be physiqued to the new mesh in order to move properly. I don't know if you can physique an object to a mesh with skope, I know you can link things but he's gonna need it physiqued.

wow so when you cut if off the body in skope it retains it's physique? I learn something new every day
