So, i was trying to install :ff: on my xp(since i haven't played it since my windows M.E.) and in the middle of install is says an error message and something about "Cyclic Redundancy Check". Is there something i have to do first before i can install it?

That usually means the CD went bad or was damaged or the drive is having issues with reading it.
You can try cleaning the disk, reading it on a different drive etc...

If it still doesn't work, you may have to try some kind of software recovery application like:

Ive never used it, but Ive heard about it, so I cant vouch for its effectiveness.

I'll bet that was it. This disc is so old and used! I'll look into that program, if that doesn't work... I guess i'll just get a new copy. Thanks.
