I wish I had the poster for the Captain Planet movie (very cool).

As for Clash, it's a cheesy classic movie, just lie the Sinbad movie (not the comedian), and Jason and the Argonauts.  I believe special FX is the classic Stop/ Go clay motion.

Yep, except they were models not clay, quite detailed and well articulated.  Actually the same special effects man for them all the  great Ray Harryhausen
