Challenge maps only.  Bats & Cat are the only ones you can play in the campaign

Gamefaqs has (had) a couple of phony achievements posted for Robin on their site.   Those two fake achievements falsely imply that Robin has activity in the main game.  He doesn't.

However...
Spoiler
He does appear in the main story at a key moment and help you with a fight.  However, he is called off by Batman and told to let the female ninjas escape.  Nightwing doesn't appear in the main story.

Cool to see the skins in action there bat...but sadly ruined by the idiot commentary of the reviewer "GhostRobo."

Anyway, my game should be coming in the mail today! :)

Started playing last night and maaaan oh man is it fun zooming around as Batman... Once I started getting the hang of the gliding/dive-bombing mechanic I really started feeling the exhilaration of just getting from place to place.

I highly, highly recommend doing the first set of 'Augmented Reality Training" when you're prompted - it doesn't take that long and it gives you the Grapnel Boost which makes getting around even more fun.

Lucky man, mine was supposed to come today but it's still in Mississauga. Desperately hoping for tomorrow. No Batman for the weekend would suck so very much.
Also yesterday I order the collected prequel comic, delivery estimate has it coming in tomorrow as well, that'd be cool.

Got it! Awesome so far! I haven't played Arkham Asylum in a long while so my timing was waaaaay off during the big group fights. Using Robin is fun in the challenge modes...still not a fan with the hooded look so I just stick with the cool Red Robin instead. Catwoman is very well put together in more ways than one! :D

Yeaaaaah... If anyone needs me for the next month, I'll probably still be playing this. Been playing for the last 3 days after work and I'm only up to 20-something

Mr. Hamrick

Alright...  beat the main quest.  I've beat most of the side quests.

The Riddler stuff is driving me CRAZY!   I like it!!  LOL!  Some of these riddles I just don't get.  (to be more precise, how to solve some of these things)

The AR quest has annoyed me though.

(which ought to tell you the side quests I have not finished.)

Zsasz was annoying more than it was hard. As for the AR training... I still haven't beaten them all, but I found that doing so helped prepare me for some of the main story.

Beat the main story this evening. I'm trying to get the Two Face trophy right now... if anyone knows which area it's in, I'd appreciate it.

Actually, no.  I did wind up waiting till I beat the main quest to do his side quest though.  The Zsasz side quest just seemed LONG.

One thing that has got be a bit curious, I am still missing a few things on the unlockable abilities and I am not sure what I am missing or how to get them.  :(

Oh and one thing of note on the Mysterious Watcher quest.

Spoiler
Before you finish it, throw your remote controlled batarang at him.  You get an Xbox or PS3 achievement for doing so in addition to the achievement for finishing his quest.

Got it yesterday and spent all night playing it. It's fantastic. And Robin is so much fun to play. I'm only 10% through the story so plenty to go.

K. I've gotten most of what I can now (missing a few tidbits here and there, but with the Catwoman trophies in there I got enough to finish the Riddler quest) and I have to say... I thought AA was epic, but this is on a whole different scale. The designs aren't just silly looking (except for Ivy's being the same just crawled out of bed goofiness from AA, but she's not heavily involved like some of the others), the story wasn't just an excuse to drive the game forward and provide gameplay variations (Joker's master plan in aa was just bane thugs? laaaaame), the characters were all fully developed in ways I don't think we even saw in BTAS (Yes, I said it. Eat it beaches), and the ending was so epic I almost don't want another game to come in and ruin the epicness of it.

JeyNyce

I'm taking my time with this game.  I pretty much don't want it to end.  Just flying around on rooftops and jumping down on thugs and beating crap out of them is just so much fun!

I'm right there with you Jey. I followed the storyline for a bit but mostly just doing what you are.

I just got a look at the PC specs and I meet the recommended specs, so I guess I know what I'll be buying in a couple of weeks.

I beat the main story last night, excellent game. I'll talk more about it after I've wrapped up all the side missions.

That's not the only clue.  The other is much more hidden.
Spoiler
If you open up your Cryptographic Sequencer, you can find three broadcasts from a slightly fuzzy and robotic voice saying seemingly random numbers. These numbers are actually a cipher, numeric representations of the alphabet. Two of the broadcasts are garbage, but the third one says: "9 23 9 12 12 18 5 20 21 18 14 2 1 20 13 1 14" which translates to " I WILL RETURN BATMAN".

As for The Calendar Man...
Spoiler
You can reset the clock on your Xbox while offline to each of the days specified and get the achievement too.

That seems...unsportsmanlike, somehow.

Also, way too much work.

I'm mentioning it as an option in case anyone is like myself and will be out of town on Thanksgiving and not taking their Xbox.  (Waiting to hear if I am starting an MTV job next week that will have me till mid-December.)

Nightwing DLC is out, and with him comes a couple more challenge maps and a Batman TAS skin.  Good stuff.

Debating on getting the Nightwing content but probably get it.  Found out I am not getting the MTV job so... guess I am just counting the days to Skyrim.
