Just wondering if anyone here still does concerts, festivals and shows. Personally I went years without one, but I'm getting back into the swing of things and going out to see live music. The most recent one was Lauryn Hill, got a review I wrote up:

Also I might go see a couple of my favorite prog bands soon, Cynic and later Pain of Salvation.

As for the last live shows I saw...

Rodrigo y Gabriela: Amazing duo of Mexican flamenco guitar players with metal roots.

Opeth, Mastodon and Ghost: Opeth and Mastodon where amazing, Ghost is not a band I listen to but they are a ton of fun live.

Animals as Leaders: Really awesome and intense prog metal.

Janelle Monae: Probably one of the most flawless, high energy live shows I have seen.

Well, I'm kind of more of an 80s kid so that's what my few concerts have been regulated to.

Last concert I went to was Hall and Oats.  If you're into that sort of thing, then it was the greatest thing ever.  Only topped by the first concert I remember attending in a long time: Sade.  That was an AMAZING show.  The set up, the staging, let alone her singing.

Wait.  Now that I'm remembering, Sade was AMAZING and was a great experience, but I DID go see Star Wars In Concert when it was doing it's tour.  THAT was really good!  Of course it was the orchestra play through storylines of all six movies narrated by Anthony Daniels.  But yeah, that's the breath of it.  A free Stevie Wonder concert.  It was Stevie Wonder so, I guess you can imagine.

But on the topic, anyone else go to Star Wars In Concert?
