Sooooo... Umm... any other Farmville players on FR?

Those of you whose emails I recognize (AA, TUE, HQ, V, Etc.) may have noticed that I've become a relectant participant in the craze known as... Facebook. I'm not really what you might call a Facebook type of person (to me it's still an ADD inducing nightmare... but then, I don't really like Cell phones either.) but my sister got me addicted to this Farmville thing... it's stupid, yet freakishly addictive. Thing is though, it is specifically designed to make you go out and get ASMANYFRIENDSASPOSSIBLE to meet the Neighbor requirements, and even provides a means by which to do so... by going on the farmville forum and friending whatever shmuck posted most recently.


... yeah, even though I'm not really a Facebook guy, I'll still pass on opening myself to SBDs(SpamBot Diseases), thanks. If I'm going to get hundreds of messages about stuff I don't care about, I'd rather it at least be from people I actually KNOW.

my page, I think. Again, not much of a Facebook aficionado here. If it works, just send me a friend request(preferably with WHO you are, if it'll allow that.) If nothing else, I'm not 100% opposed to just being friended, though I don't see how you'll really benefit

FarmVille is a more successful ripoff of Farm Town, which I was a farming GOD at. I couldn't bring myself to waste any more of my life on either game so I didn't get much into it.

I used to play Farmville until I got to a point where my farm was expanded, full of growing things, and there really didn't seem to be any point or challenge to playing, even with the then brand new achievements, so I quit.

There's a few people in class that seem to be obsessed with Farmville, even playing it during class. Haven't, and don't plan to, looked into it myself.

It was quite popular in our office as well. So much so that one of our internet providers had to block facebook from their servers altogether. 

I'm not really into facebook though.

But no, seriously guys, this is silly. I've gotten 4 posts so far about how none of you are ever gonna play (again). It's a stupid little facebook flash game, one which I just started playing and which would not bother me were it to vanish forever from space-time. I was just curious if anyone wanted to combine resources on it, I wasn't trying to start up a debate on internet fads.
