Howdy folks! As I've been teaching a newcomer to the community some of the basics of modding, it occurred to me that I could turn some of my lessons into tutorials for folks who are interested in doing more wtih FF. I went ahead and recorded the first one, and you can find it here, if you have any interest:

Feedback is welcome!

Great job! Will check it out
Haha, I'm SURE I'm not going to teach you anything, Alex!
Thanks guys!
Ty, bookmarking this one. To date making mods and maps is my weakest area in this game. I basically suck at the basics.
You're very welcome, SA! I need to make the next one this week.
Ha! "I basically suck at the basics" says the guy who makes all those amazing meshes!
Howdy folks, I just uploaded my second tutorial video, which provides an introduction to creating stories with EZScript. I hope it's relatively coherent and that any of y'all who have been interested in telling your own stories might find this useful. More to come!

Thanks, took a decade to learn anything about textures and meshes for me though, maybe a little more. I also lucked out and happened to be here when RD was so I had someone to teach me how nifs work. Else I'm lacking in every other area regarding FF. I can sort of put objects on maps and figured out how to exploit a glitch or two (preloaded summoner trick), that's about it. Though I also never put the time in like I haven't put any quality time into FX so that's part of it. I always want to try my hand at everything though, making a short even one to two level mod has been high on that list.
Just watched these Benton and learned a lot. Gives me incentive to go back to work on that Fawcett mod I wanted to make. Look forward to the next one. 👍
