The strangest thing is that we weren't already talking about this. Who's been watching it? We just finished the third season, and it was great. I think I liked the 2nd better, but that would be about shades of awesome, so that's no knock against this season. I'll post some thoughts latter, but if you haven't watched it yet, what are you waiting for? For my money, this show is one of the greatest works of fiction of the last decade.
Exciting!
I don't want to brag.... but little Suzie's singalong was probably the best thing ever done on Netflix period.
Haha, it was pretty great, wasn't it? They really managed that beautiful and rare perfect mixture of the dramatic and the ridiculous, like
Guardians of the Galaxy. The exchange he has with Steve right before that is one of my favorite moments in the show:
Spoiler
"She sound made up to you?"
Steve: "...."
Dustin: "Why did you hesitate?!?!"
Steve: "I didn't!"
I might get around to watching Stranger Things at some point. Unfortunately, it's not likely to be for quite some time, as I have a lot of stuff to get caught up to.

Oh my god yes! I loved Suzy-poo's and Dusty-bun's duet!
Also, what a fantastic season. Season two left me a bit underwhelmed. But, three? It really rivals season one. It definitely brought back that Goonies feel.

For once we agree on something, Benton. Hmmm...I feel
strange.
It must be quite a shock to be right after having been wrong so very, very often, Murs.
Funny, I've seen a few different people say that season 2 didn't impress them as much. Granted, L's plotline was problematic and there were some pacing and delivery problems with it. Yet, I don't know if it is just rose-colored glasses or what, but I find myself remembering it very fondly. I need to go back and re-watch it.

Perhaps I should do the same. It's possible I was quite busy/stressed at the time of watching that I wasn't fully committed to it. I can barely remember the plot other than Dustin raising and nurturing one of the monsters. Let's make it a season two race!
Haha, that sounds fun, but at the moment it is a race you'd win. I'm afraid my time for TV is super limited. I am definitely going to have to go back and watch it, though!
Haha, I knew once upon a time, but I did have to look that one up.
Yeah, L's season 2 was a little meh, but it was character building.
It just felt like it was there purely as set-up for a future season. Actually, so did everything with Billy, but then we got that payoff in season 3.
I'm sure when they get around to it again, season 2 will end up being better in retrospect to the series as a whole.
Anyhow, hooooboy. Stranger Things! I feel like this show is specifically designed for people in my age bracket.
