Anyone watching this? AMC's doing a series where James Cameron host a documentary examining different aspects of the Science Fiction genre and talks about themes and different ways different films and series addressed that particular aspect. They started with Aliens(Avatar, Arrival, E.T., Close Encounters, District 9, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, etc.) , then Space(Star Wars, Gravity, Starship Troopers, Avatar, the Martian, etc.), Monsters(Alien, Godzilla, Jurassic Park, Frankenstein, The Thing, Predator, etc.) and this week is Dark Futures(Walking Dead, I am Legend, Planet of the Apes, Handmaiden's Tale, Robocop, etc.) and next week it'll be Robots(2001, Terminator, etc.).
It's been a pretty fun series to watch. Would love to see what they have coming up next.
