Title: Importing FF nifs/kf in 3dstudio max 5
Post by: Red Fisser on July 22, 2017, 01:33:10 AM
Anyone knows how you import meshes/kf of  :ffvstr: to 3dstudio max5.
I found a plugin(in the official page) which I installed but the netimmersive gamebryo didnt appear in the import choices(although it does appear in the export).Dont know if I made any wrong steps in the process(for example I already had installed modtools before installing 3dsmax5/and the plugin after that) or if the process is different somehow.

I know pretty much nothing about the subject, so I could be wrong here, but I think you need to import the Max File, then export it as a Nif/Kf File.

I've got a bunch scattered hither and yon. PM me a place to send them and I'll get them out tomorrow.

If the official plugins check the art docs that come with the game. Though I recall, and someone can correct me later, the official ones glitch with versions of Max past 4 point something something? If the netimmerse 3rd party locate the up to date ones and a dialogue box for all this should pop up with all the options upon import or running the script which I believe was the case in 5.
