This week we'll look at the costumes of the original Power Rangers:

Between the upcoming movie and the new comic, Power Rangers just came to mind.

As cheesy as they are, I love 'em. They are the Power Rangers to me and they are definitely my favorite set of costumes.

I like 'em. Sure, they're low-budget, but there's something that really draws me to them.

I'd say it was nostalgia, but I didn't really watch Power Rangers much.

They are really cheesy and all, but i like them. They look great as a group.

I went with Like, but I considered a Love. I think they're a great coloured team set. A little silly looking but those masks are great.
Not really familiar with the later looks, I fell out of the show before then.

I had to go with a "Love" here. I agree that they're cheesy, but they have such a Classic, almost timeless, look to them. They've held up for 20 years, I think that says something about them.

Put a prehistoric animal on a race car helmet, and just about every pre-teen boy is onboard already.

Add in a symmetrical diamond design scheme reminiscent of a deck of playing cards, and it's pretty much perfect.  The spandex looks cheesy and in no way sufficient to absorb all those explosions and impacts that the Rangers take in an average battle, so that's why I think the first Power Rangers movie nailed the idea incarnation of the original uniforms.
