Yes, it's that time again; when goulies and ghosties and long legged beasties and things that go bump in the night can be skinned and posted in this thread for the edification of your peers.
And not just skins!
Any kind of Halloween content: skins, meshes, scopes, FX, even a mini-mod if you are so inclined. Dress your avatar up in orange and black, dress him up as somebody else entirely (Afghan Deadpool... hmmmm), or make and amalgam of two totally different things. Do your favorite movie monster (can't have enough of them), or any fictional critter from books, TV or comics.
To get you started:

Here we have a WIP of Henry Calvin as Superman. Looking up ol' Henry these days you see a lot of stuff of some yahoo with a similar name. Next to him is my avatar, Da Glob, in Halloween colors from some time back. Lastly is a kitbashed skin of Da Glob as Globerman.
As usual there are few rules:
Deadline is October 31, 2016.
Post your work here so we can see it and poke fun enjoy it and express our enthusiasm. If you are nearly finished by the deadline, please feel free to post after the deadline. We won't mind.
Have fun.
Boo!

With the help of Deanjo, here is The Phantom of the Rock Opera/Paradise.
Now I've got the soundtrack running through my head...
Wow so fast, looks bloody awesome too :D

I started this skin years ago and could never find a helmet that worked. I tried messing around with one of the shields, a few other things, nothing worked. The video card in my computer won't show the Male Basic skin underneath the helmet. Still, this is pretty much the way it will look.

Ol' Kitt here doesn't look too bad in orange and black.
Really happy to see the Phantom finished. The soundtrack is on almost every playlist that I have.

love this one
I'm loving all of these, DG! I definitely like the last Phantom the best of them, but you're right, Kitt looks pretty good in Halloween colors.
I didn't even know that whole 'Phantom of the Paradise' thing existed. Neat!
If I can manage it, I'm going to finally finish the second adventure for my Ghostbusters mod this month. We'll see.
Thanks!
I remember Phantom of the Paradise at the Village 3 (later Village 6, now a vacant lot). Here is an updated version including the voicebox and since it is the FFv3R version, it shows the Male Basic under the helmet.

I don't think this is an original idea; I think I based it on a picture I saw someplace on the internet. Still, this is my version of Spiderpool.
Very cool :D
My victim is CyberBurn lord of vampires.

So does CyberPyre (Like Cyber and Vampire, get it? :P) burn in the sun or just he just use it like us hoomies?
Maybe he burns, but he likes it.
Meanwhile, as warned, a WIP of Herbert Lom as The Phantom of the Opera:

In the middle is a Ben Cooper Halloween costume we are probably familiar with. However, it is the reason I think the BND Spiderman costume looks funny: the glowing spider.
Flanking Spidey are skins of a couple of Collegville Halloween costumes (which I did years ago), both for "The Spider". Ben Cooper and Collegeville produced the majority of kids Halloween costumes for years. They fought for the rights to do cartoon, motion picture, comic strip, and comic book characters. If one of the companies didn't get the rights before the other, they did a rip off. I believe The Spider here is a rip off of Spiderman, which Ben Cooper started producing in 1963, maybe the first merchandising of the Marvel Age of Comics. Anyway, I had the green one. Steve Miller wore the green mask on the cover of The Steve Miller Band's album The Joker.
And while looking to see which company produced The Spider, I found... a rainbow version!
Just a reminder: Plaid Stallions has copies of old Collegeville and Ben Cooper catalogues.

here's a third Ghost Rider skope, that I think qualifies for the Halloween challenge. It's Alejandra Blaze skoped from the Marvel Heroes game onto Grenadier's Warrior Woman

This is Boogeyman, my avatar's evil twin (actually, #12 in the series of androids they belong to. The Glob is #13).

At one time, I had The Glob use Shape Shift to change to some other forms. The Hulk here, Superman, and Batman are kittbashed skins (although I did Superman) and we also have Spiderman. I checked and My computer still won't let Shape-shift work.
(http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb287/lonespaceranger/globpool_zpswce9rweg.jpg) (http://s210.photobucket.com/user/lonespaceranger/media/globpool_zpswce9rweg.jpg.html)
Here is a skin of an alternate Spiderman costume, and The Glob showing how much fun it is to be a shape-shifter.
I'm loving these Globtasic Disguises, Glob!
Wow! There is a lot of cool stuff in here. I really love the Cyber Burn Halloween skope, and that female Ghost Rider is pretty darn cool. I also love all of the 'Glob forms.

...and counting.

C'mon folks; this challenge is the one that usually has the most participation.

I've posted this before under the heading something like "If you see this Batman is really dead", but it's kind of Halloweenish.
I'm enjoying this thread a lot, so I made Havok and Polaris to join the challenge dressed up as Cyclops and Jean on the cover of Uncanny X-men 137.

A couple of The Nocturnals.
I'm still having issues with the Skope (The Gun keeps disappearing during the "Ranged_Gun" animations), but if I wait until I figure that one out, this would probably never get posted.

What's in the fire effect?

Hey, I'm an Assassin, when it's my time, there is no way that I'm not going to BURN!!!
No, no, I understand that. I meant what does the fire texture look like? It looks like more than just red, orange, and yellow. Kinda like a pumpkin... :pumpkin-bigsmile:
Got it, I actually pulled this from one of Flash's old Skins, my attempts just looked horrid.

Polychrome from Dan Brereton's Nocturnals is a mix of INK bits with newly minted hair, a weighted cap, jacket and belt bits.

I made it! I made it by the skin of my teeth, but I made it nonetheless!
Check it out guys, my very belated Halloween mod is actually being released on A Halloween...just not the one it was originally intended for.
This thread is full of amazing stuff. This has been a really great challenge, and I will sing the proper praises of all of the cool projects that have shown up here lately, though first I'm going to go collapse because this was a sprint!
Happy Halloween guys, and welcome to Ghostbusters: Trick or Terror II!
I'm just BARELY getting this one in under the wire, but I am proud to release the second episode in the Halloween adventures of everyone's favorite spirit chasers, the Ghostbusters! Join them for another mysterious case as they are called to a foreboding locale and face strange events that just might be connected to their previous Halloween misadventure.
As before, this is a simple, one mission story, but I had a blast making it, and I hope you will have a good time with it as well. So come on, celebrate Halloween in style, with the kings of creep, the Ghostbusters!
This release includes the original mod as well as the new mission and foes. You can download the whole thing here:

Thanks Pod, I still feel like the Skin is missing something though, it just doesn't have that "Pop", you know?
@ SickAlice: I have to admit, I'm not familiar with the Nocturnals, but she looks great.
@Benton: I am sooo looking forward to this!!!
Thanks guys! I hope y'all enjoy it. It's a rush job, so it might be rough around the edges...and in the center...but I'm really happy with the writing. :)
Now to give proper praise to all these great Halloween projects!
I LOVE all of the Daglob costumes. That is so much fun, and they look great, guys!
WB, that is such a cool idea, X-Men going as other X-Men. That's just delightful. Great work!
I don't know the Nocturnals, but those guys all look really good, DG and SA!
Another Halloween has come and gone. All the haints and spirits and monsters and fiends have rounded their little world with a sleep.
Next up: Christmas!
No Thanksgiving?
I've thought about it, but, other than Pirgrimpool, could never really come up with much.
Do you have any suggestions?

A Mini-Mod where we get to hunt Turkeys?
Do we have a turkey? Alice gave us all sorts of chickens...
I think RandomDays may have ported a Turkey.
Maybe you hunt turkeys while Alice's chicken people run interference? Or just a plain turkey hunt.
That wouldn't really be fair. Kryptonian turkeys, maybe?
I think it was Bevo that made a pretty great Solomon Kane skope. maybe a mini-mod?
