Title: Mesh Pictures in PDF Format
Post by: WyldFyre on February 06, 2011, 12:17:57 AM
Would anyone be interested in this?  I have been working on making PDFs for each mesher (sometimes several: Tommyboy's for example).  I haven't finished them all, and if they have less than 9 or so meshes I have grouped them into a Misc. category (I have their name - or a close facsimile - in front of their individual meshes).

Anyway, if anyone would be interested, I'll try to upload them next week.

Here's a sample:

This is Mienk's mesh file.  If there are any meshes I don't have included, I'll be happy to be notified so that I can give them a place.

I thought this could be useful for skinners to look through and skopers to look for parts in.

Just let me know how you guys feel about it.

Looks cool!  It would be handy when you want to have an idea of what a mesh would look like without loading up the game.

Funny you should ask.  In honor of the Renegade discussion:

Hosted on Mediafire.  Free to all.  Enjoy. Here are the first two PDFs.

http://www.mediafire.com/?usuv29bpcbputah
http://www.mediafire.com/?d5ic92efv4htm82

They are only the FF1 meshes that I have by Ren.  I plan on doing seperate PDFs for FFvtTR.  I am trying to keep file sizes low. (less than 20 mb each.)

Let me know what you think.  More to come soon.

These are great! Makes me really want some of those meshes.

Spoiler
Could you send me Dr_Phosphorous_ren and male_basic_skeleton_skin_fx (holy_pilgrim90(at)yahoo(dot)com)?

Not trying to make this a request thread, but they are two meshes that I would really like :P

A new batch today featuring the meshes of Grenadier!

On a side note, if there is a mesh I don't have pictured, please let me know.  And if I have any meshes attributed to the wrong author let me know that as well.  I don't want to discredit an author due to a missing readme or a failed memory on my part.

I'll get them out today. Probably this evening (US EST) because of a doctor's appointment.  But I will get them to you.

Yeah.  One day I was looking through my collection in ctool and thought wow.  Look at all the cool stuff.  So I started taking some screen shots. I didn't realize how many there were till I started putting them together.

(Wait till I get to Tommyboy's  for a LOT of meshes.)  :)

These pictures produce a number of questions, mostly "He made that? Where can I get it?"

I've never seen Fusions Berserk Casca, Colt, Deadshot, Destroyer (Male Basic Destroyer? Wow!, I can see it now: Big D and the Destroyer Corps), Fusion v3, or a couple of others. Makes me wonder if they were in Fusions first, now porn filled, group.

And where are Syn's meshes? I only have a few of these.

But I still don't see TJ Gorilla Anvil...

All of Syn's meshes (that are in the PDF) can be found on the FRP 2 site under "Meshes".

I've been there, I go whenever you post an update and check it out. I obviously need to explore more of it.

I've never been able to get a response when I've requested it, beyond "Oh yeah; it was in the Twisted Earth Mod".
