Question:
Which name is more appealing for a clothing company?
Option 1: Ascent
votes: 14
Option 2: Abstract
votes: 9
So, I've decided to expand my horizons and start designing t-shirts. Maybe I'll fail, maybe I won't. Can't know without trying, right? Anyways, I'm stuck on these two names and I can't decide. Help me!
This is going to sound weird probably, but I think "ascent" is the more visually pleasing of the two words - I can see you doing more with the logo treatment on it than with "abstract", though the latter does have those two t's you could play with.
I think Ascent sounds better. Rolls off the tongue better and it seems to me to seem more sleek and cool. Abstract sounds like something that's strange or unusual. Depends what you're going for I guess.
Be careful what you wish for.
:P
They both have merit.
Ascent is aspirational, implies an upward movement.
Abstract implies a run against common thought, a slightly maverick take.
Of course, combine them and you get "Absent", which....er....umm....I'll get me coat..
Thanks for the input and votes!
DANG IT~~~
I voted for Abstract and my vote counts more than anybody else! That's right because I am the loud obnoxious minority that will be heard!
Ascent, but I'm an 'onward and upward' kind of guy.
