does anyone have the correct order to install the game, ffx ezfx etc. i couldn't see it on the archieves
cheers mate, now i just have to find them and try and work out how to install the bloody voice packs :lol:
you're lucky you're brave enough to try. i consider myself lucky enough to have gotten the game working on vista properly...
umm what if any trouble will it cause.. if I install ezfx AFTER FFX?
okay I thought it did, but seeing someone ask for both made me wonder...

No, it doesn't. However, if EZFX is already present on your computer, the FFX installer is supposed to use a fx.dat version merged with EZFX's.

No biggie. Assuming you haven't created customized FXes in FFEdit, simply install EZFX. In the FFX3 folder,backup your current fx.dat file (just in case) and and rename a copy of fx.dat.ezfx60.new to fx.dat. Alternatively, if you have added custom FXes after installing FFX 3.3 but before installing EZFX, you should use FFEdit to merge from fx.dat.ezfx60_only_for_merging.new to fx.dat.
