He works, except ingame there is a bad shadow on his wings. I can't find the material in nifskope or max. Anybody know how to fix this?

Benton, Dean, or someone could send me the conversion to FFVS3R so I can see what's going on and see if I know how to fix it.
I'm guessing it could be the lightmap.

From what I see in Nifskope, there's an issue with the backpack texture where the UV map doesn't match the mesh design, and there's a missing texture on the character's waist. I don't know the reason.
Perhaps a better option would be to take another Buzz model and mount it on another hero model. Someone who uses wings, for starters, I'm thinking SkyKing.
I'm just saying what comes to mind. I haven't been able to open it and see what happens in-game yet, because it won't open because it's not a mesh suitable for FFVS3R.

I can't find the material for the wings in nifskope, and my max files have always exported darkness. I don't have the sky king. I think the reason there is a missing texture is there are a lot of holes in the base model. Empty spots. I had to "close gaps" in max. I can probably uvw edit it, if necessary.

Here's what I mean. You can see the wings node, and under it is the editable mesh. Normally the material is under that. For example, near the bottom is PolyMesh, which is the entire body, and material is beneath it.

 :banghead:
The waist is still perforated, but I don't know how you managed to fix it. The jetpack and wings look bad. Something must have happened when extracting the model. I don't know what it was.
Looking at the original, it also looks like this.
I also use it to scale, and it's not really that noticeable. I'll see if I can adjust the other jetpack by replacing the wings. Movement-wise, it looks better than I expected by far. It really looks good.
You did an amazing job though!

Here I upload sky king from FFVS3R

What I did was replace Liberty Lad with another flat black file, and the wing isn't shaded.
I don't know if that's logical or correct, but oh well.

I didn't understand what was going on. I think something was damaged at some point.

Maybe you need to add an omni light or something in max. If it's not the uv/texture problem.

My Stalker's hat always had dark shadows because he lacked lighting.
