Title: Help Request with Zanzoken Fx
Post by: MarvelHero on October 06, 2025, 03:05:04 PM
I am now out of options. Would someone mimic this attack? :banghead:

Just a direct attack with an fx nif object appearing and disappearing similar to this.

It doesn't need to be plenty. Just one appear and disappear.

Making a character anim disappear or shrink is easy with nifskope now.

Making it a direct attack can target airborn and ground units.

The fx is my one big problem.

Would someone help me out?

MarvelHero, if you skope whichever character you want on DM's Nightcrawler scope, that might get you what you want.  Alternatively, you could build on the Nightcrawler FX in EZFX.

Could you put the link on the exact skope? I only have Val's Nightcrawler.

I already learned how to make a character disappear while doing attacks.

I really need an fx with a bone to attach a character mesh to. So it would appear as an fx while my character is shrunk.

Sorry, MH, I was misremembering.  The Nightcrawler skope just has him vanish with the animation; the effect is accomplished with the FX, which is 2D, I think.  If you've got EZFX, it should be in there, I think.

I've seen what you're referring to.

Sadly it doesn't want to accept a non moving character mesh with specific punching anim.

MH, I'm sorry I can't be more help, but I'm afraid you're beyond my skill.  Maybe someone who knows more than me can be of service.  Good luck!

It's ok. I am still in the process of figuring things out myself. :banghead:
