I finally found the nifplugin for importing nif for my version of max! I can now make head files for any mesh.
I'm working on Ice, Tora, right now. I'm going to do a voicepack and head, and maybe a couple of skins for, I think it's Ink's model?

Need any head files for  :ffvstr: ? I remember, it's the same setup, just a few extra channels.

And anybody, what's a good voice pack for Ice? I tried Elsa, but it isn't working out right. Does she have an accent, do you think?

Have you thought about generating a voice for her with ElevenLabs or some of the current AI?

I'm looking into it. Elevenlabs wants money.

Character AI generates a voice from a short sample.
It's an Android app, and I've used it to generate some messages and to make commercials. You have to ask the robot and create it as an employee whose boss you are in the profile so that it will listen to you and record what you ask.
Otherwise, it will never say it the same way.
The expressions they have are still not great, as if they were actually acted, but you can write any scripts you want. And so far, it's free (but with ads).

Elevenlabs gave me a sample, enough for a complete Ice voicepack. I'm tempted to pay the $5 a month. It looks like that would give us 3 voicepacks. Any suggestions?

Haha, once again, how much time do you have?  I will look over my projects and try to give you a restrained request or two.  :D It would definitely be great to have some of these!

AI Voicepacks: Wow!  Brave new world, and all that.  This is fascinating and could be a really cool boon for fans and these kinds of projects.  It's also a bit horrifying on a cultural level.  I'm really interested to hear what y'all have come up with.  I'll have to experiment with this myself, perhaps over Christmas break.  In theory, we could take samples from a show (thinking of the Saturday Morning mod) and have a program generate a voicepack in the style of a favorite voice actor's performance.

Oh, and yeah, I'd think Ice would have a bit of an accent.
