Post by: comicstar100 on April 22, 2024, 08:17:29 PM
I'm getting an error when I try to run FFX 3 it shows that windows is searching for for ffvt3r.exe

if I browse for it and click the ffvt3r.exe I get steam error "application load error 5:0000065434"

Not sure what I'm doing wrong

Not quite sure what's happening there.

Can you explain how you installed your copy of ffx3? Wonder if there was a mistake in the installation process somewhere.

Trying again after a few months and its the same thing. I downloaded Freedom Force X 3.3 Full Installer from the freedomforce4ever and instealled it in my freedom force vs the their reich folder. I still get the same error trying to run FX3

"application load error 5:0000065434"

My first guess would be the same as Spydermann93, the file path: The default install path for FFX is for the retail version of FFvsTTR under Program Files; the Steam version of the game probably uses a different path. When installing FFX, you should use the same path.

if you have an ffx3 shortcut on your desktop, check to make sure it's pointing to the right place.

Right-click on it and select Properties...

Sounds like the path to your game for your shortcut is incorrect

edit: Seems like I cannot post what the Start In and Target Lines should look like.

Sorry it has to be an image. The dang site won't let me paste the text for the file paths. Absolutely silly.
