So, not really a request for myself, but I'll have some time coming up during the holidays and I'm willing to take a few requests as presents.
I've already got a few lined up for Cranlox and Dana, but if anyone has a couple of requests(each) they'd like to make, send them over and I'll see what I can do.
Keep in mind that I mainly do imports, but I can do some meshing and moving parts around in Blender, and I can do things like move a mesh from one type to another (IE male_basic to Tommyboy TV, male to female, or onto smaller or swimmer kfs.)
I'll also probably put a copy of the updated list I've been doing up later to day as well, and I'm open to limited requests from that as well.

Rigging to male_hulking_brute since you brought it up. A little complex for the rigging due to the gear on him.
At present, he breaks up some in the character viewer, but we'll see how he looks in game when done.

Cranlox - Sullivan is over half done - just taking a little longer than normal. The American Dream is by Flassh22798 (from the readme) and it looks like its based off of a Tommyboy female_versatile. I don't think I have that mesh/ skin, so that adds to my collection.
I haven't had too much time to do more than briefly look at the other skins you sent.
Hero - All 3 files look like I can deal with them. The Felicia has the adult version pictures, plus a child version and 3 teen versions. I'll be only doing the adult version

Cranlox - Sullivan is done and looks good. Not sure why the texture on his left arm is gray instead of blue, but that's the way it is in the original link.
The armor on the left arm is removable and is two different pieces - shield closed and shield open.
Tested in game and looks pretty good. Minor tweaking may be needed.
Wrapped in a box with a blue bow for Christmas.
Alex - Checked the small portal marker;
1) 1st got an error on version - your marker was version 4.00. A nif I looked at for FF was 4.02 > This might be your problem.
2) sent you a rar with 3 versions in it; a) your original
b) the original updated to 4.02
c) a version with a bounding box taken from the picnic table from in game.

Dana - Next is queue is trying to grab the air elemental linked above and trying to import it onto a Red tornado if I can. I think putting the NWN mesh inside the tornado should get it close to the original MM1 picture.
Below is a pic of an air elemental from the Civ 4 'Fall From Heaven" mod. I think this could be a good base also, but I would probably remove the arms. I moght be able to combine the two together.

No luck on the Air Elemental for NWN1 - there was no mesh or skin at all on the import, just an armature - I'm assuming that's it some form of advanced emitter.
Might be the same problem for the rest of the NWN elementals as well.
As above, took the Civ 4 Air Elemental and rigged it to Tommyboy's Red Tornado 2 TF with modified kfs. It looks good in game, but the alpha may need to be turned down to make it more visible.
Next on the rotation will be Kaecillius - probably to Gren's Electra since she has two weapons.
Adding to the rotation if there's time, a few for myself that are strangely missing (as far as I know) from characters that have been skinned.

Alex - resent the marker file. On the other file, there was a "float division error" on export. I found it was due to "Editable mesh.00". This was a 1 vertex mesh down near the feet of the mesh - not sure what it was supposed to be, but deleting it fixed the export. File being sent back to you.
I'm holding off on screenshots till they're all done and ready for release around Christmas.
Kaecillius is done - rigged to Gren's Electra - looks pretty good except for the hands. Since hands are difficult to rig, I tried using slightly enlarged hands from Electra. You'll see a little red above the wrists from her skin, and the hands are still a bit off. They look good for most poses, but are a bit stretched when carrying poles or objects.
Moving to Captain Falcon next.

Captain Falcon is done, after giving troubles all day long. Rigged to Gren's Punisher and looking pretty good. Using the hands from the Punisher worked out a little bit than last time, though still not perfect. Rigging wasn't that bad, but texturing was a mess. The mesh is made of over 20 pieces and each had its own texture - and some kept getting their texture assignment overwritten by another piece's skin.
It actually came out with an interesting version worth keeping that I'll release called "Captain Red"
I wound up having to break the mesh into 3 groups on export to prevent it - the hands, legs and hips, and chest and arms.
I think a simple rig for HERBIE next.

A peek at "Captain Red" on the Punisher kfs.
The mesh's helmet is in 4 pieces, each with their own texture. The front texture is the one with the falcon. Since it started with a few of the other skins overwritten, I just went ahead and put the falcon texture almost everywhere - it doesn't look bad for a screwed up mesh.

RD, Those elementals are cool, I remember them from the game. The modded ones are also pretty cool. I really love the idea of the cyclone-like Air Elemental (maybe with glowing eyes inside) so much, though...it harkens back to 1st/2nd Edition D&D game monsters.

I think this second one might be better. He's not as detailed, but the flame FX will help his look. I think with the other mesh, if all of his sculpted flames aren't animated, he might look weird (if you know what I mean).

Finished up most open projects this weekend. Captain Falcon came with 5 alternate skins where each of the 30 + small textures had to renamed to match the main textures.
HERBIE had a couple of small glitches but seems to be okay.
The special mesh for Benton is done, as well as a surprise gift for a member - both took a bit longer longer than I would have hoped.
Started work on Round 2 with Cranlox's Ladybug request, doing the Cat Noir version. She'll probably go a female_with_tail or Cheetah armature.
Following that will be Dana's Fire Elemental, Hero's Ancient One, Yank's Batman TAS, and General Ross.
Have you decided to face Lady Bug and Cat Noir in the end?

Sullivan's arm is like that in the game because it's part of his combat clothing, he uses that arm for cover, and it's like armored cloth.

As hoped, Cat Noir was quick and easy. Due to his shape, he didn't work well on male_basic, but looked good on male_teen_12.

The Batman TAS will probably go on Batman Gren 2 if possible, the female Ancient One on the Dr Strange mentioned elsewhere for the floating animation, and the Fire Elemental on male_basic_fx for the fire effect.
For General Ross, does anyone know if there are any kfs with a salute animation in it? It would also need a pistol one as well. Maybe one of Tommyboy's TV or TV lite.

If you look back on page 1, Kaecillius is already done.
As hoped, using Cat Noir as a base, Ladybug went quick and only took a few minutes. It has the same teen shape as Cat Noir, so while it was distorted a bit on a normal 'adult' set of kfs, it looks good on the male_teen_12 ones.
Working on the fire elemental at the moment - having a few issues with it not responding to the kfs - might have been due to low memory at the time. May also be due to some special conditions with the fx -mesh - after trying to skope with it, it stopped responding as well. I'll try just male_basic and a few things when I get home.

I'm probably in the middle or so on knowledge for Blender - mostly trial and error and web searches.
A lot of credit, of course, goes to the original skin and mesh creators. Importing isn't really as impressive as the work I'm bringing into the game.
Good news on the fire elemental - it animates and has fx activated. I had to convert the mesh to an obj and back, rig it to male basic, and then skope the mesh onto the fx nif. Right now I'm tweaking the vertex groups since the weight transfer wasn't that great.
I should be able to get the second round done by this weekend. The third round, with some possible bonuses, might have to be a "Happy New Year" release. I'll see where I'm at when the weekend is over, and might release what I have then, and the rest the following weekend.
Everything requested should be released, whenever they get finished, and barring any problems I can't overcome.
For information;
The Fire elemental base is a stl file. These are what are used for 3D printing. As such, they are very high poly to start with, and have no texture set up.
The max vertex limit for the FF games is about 11,000 or so. The fire elemental started at a few hundred thousand. Removing vertex doubles brought it down to about 60,000, and poly reducing in Blender brought it down to a workable 5,000. Removing a circular base from it brought it down to 4,600.
Converting it to a obj and putting it in the Milkshape 3D program to set up a basic UV for the mesh. I'll also try setting up a UV in Blender and 3DS Max, as they sometimes give different results.
The Fire Elemental is done with 3 different versions. For walking and running, I personally would rename the hover or melee_idle, and use one of those instead of the normal animation. Since he has no legs, he looks a little strange with his arms swinging
He'll be coming with 3 different nifs - one set to a male_basic skin, one with the FX_chest as the base, and one with FX_chest and the lightmap turned off to remove the glossiness.
Two different UVs - one just has the skin applied to each face, and two with the UV from Blender (Max used the same one when tried)
You'll get a better idea when I post some pics soon.
I think he looks pretty neat - I've got a few skins for it - standard, Human Torch by Aly Cat, Superman Red and Superman Blue by C6, IG Tempest by an unknown, and Dr Spectrum by an unknown(any help identifying these would be great).
These give some different unique looks - possible an ice or lightning elemental variant.
Starting up on the Ancient One tomorrow. Besides the Dr Strange mentioned above, I also have one called "Dr Strange Book VX" that has a large spell book appear in front of him for the hover ranged animations. No readme but I think its by Style, with the base skin by him or Tommyboy.

The stls I've done so far just have simple single color min-skins, or with the fire elemental, just a randomly applied skin from the uv that the editors created.
If you know how to create a uv for a mesh, are willing to skin it, and see something you like, let me know. I can add it to the queue of things to work on down the line.

Yesterday importing went very well - I finished both the TAS Batman on Gren's Batman 2, and The Ancient One on Gren's Dr Strange Vx. I'm almost done with the second surprise import and should finish that and start on General Ross soon - I think he'll go on the Punisher armature so I can add a holster and pistol animations.
Hopefully Ratchet will start today as well.
Last, I found another interesting page on Deviantart with not only some characters, but some buildings as well - I especially like the Hall of Doom - maybe Benton can use it in the DC mod.

A few more issues, but fairly smooth.
I had to rework the second surprise a lot this morning due to texture reassignment.
With that out of the way, General Ross went on Punisher fine, and the idle1 and rally animations fit well. The only issue with the mesh was a number of holes in it that had to be filled.
Ratchet went on male_basic - Bearded's Joker and Spy vs Spy kept crashing Blender in pose mode. It might be able to be skoped onto Bearded's mesh though.
Dana - the male_basic_effects mesh for FF1 won't run as is for FFvt3R. Going to try taking the male basic version and exporting it to FFvt3R, and then skoping it onto the base fire elemental that I had forgotten about.
If possible, finishing up with Felicia and the NWN Earth Elemental, with the classic Ancient One and a Water Elemental on the outside.
Pics should go up tomorrow I think. I still need to do some in-game testing and readme files before zipping them up for release.
Those are very neat, especially a lot of the classic D&D monsters. As far as creating a UV map for them, that I don't think I can do or know how to. I can skin them, though.

The stls I've done so far just have simple single color min-skins, or with the fire elemental, just a randomly applied skin from the uv that the editors created.
If you know how to create a uv for a mesh, are willing to skin it, and see something you like, let me know. I can add it to the queue of things to work on down the line.
I'm working on Hero's Felicia at the moment - it will probably be done tonight. The classic Ancient One and Water Elemental are still in queue

For Dana - Air Elemental, Earth Elemental and Fire Elemental. Added eyes from the Fire Elemental to the Air and Earth ones - they can be recolored by skinning or just removed by skoping. The Air Elemental is on Tommyboy's Red Tornado 2 TF. The Earth Elemental is on male_hulking_brute.
The fire elemental on the top row is just male_basic. The bottom row is all skoped onto male_basic_fx. The first with Aly Cat's Human Torch with effects off, the second on C6's Superman Blue and the last on a Dr Spectrum by an unknown skinner - both with effects also on.
I was also able to get the mesh skoped onto the FFvt3R Fire Elemental, but the fire effect is damped down for some reason.

Yank - I'm not sure on the visor - the skin for it is the basic brown seen. The white triangles would have been an overlay that might have been lost due to the skin replacement issues mentioned earlier. I'll take a last look before uploading.
Hopefully Felicia will be done when I get home from work today. The claws need to be looked at and the tail - the tail in the pic is from the original mesh, but might work better than the Felicia tail. She was also made of a large number of small meshes like Captain Falcon and had skin replacement issues.
I'll also have to check out the original mesh to see if its that or me, but she has an extreme hip sway when walking that stretches the mesh noticeably. If its only in the walk, I can deal with it.
What's the name of Falcon's visor texture? I can try retexturing it myself after you upload.
Felicia is done.A lot of tweaks to get it there. Kept the original tail mesh and gave it a simple small skin.
The hip sway seems to only present in normal walk. Its kept for now and I'll see how bad it is in-game.
She appears very broken up in the FF character viewer, but almost no error in the FFvt3R one.

The original file was 64x32 and looks to be a half skin with the other half of the visor mesh using a mirror of the skin - I'm not sure if the mirror part is working.
I stretched the skin to a standard 64x64 just in case, but it didn't seem to make a difference. The original skin has renamed by adding a one at the end.
Looking at the mesh and temporarily deleting things in nifskope, the triangles are unskinned small meshes beneath both the visor and the face.
It's 'Tri objDrawCall_0222.00 7" in nifskope. I changed the y value just enough to bring them on top of the visor to make it close to the original.

Good news on the Fire Elemental - He won't work in the FFvt3R character viewer, but he seems to works fine in the game. I replaced the standard melee idle, walk and run animations with the idle one, but the original animations are still there if you want them.
He looks impressive in game with the hellfire ranged attack.

Sullivan always has his right leg raised but if I remove the keyframe and see the clean mesh without animation it looks normal.
Will there be a way to correct it?
I know it's just a detail.

male_hulking_brute has the one leg forward and the other back, not raised, in its idle - the Earth Elemental use the same kfs and looks the same.
Since its based on male_hulking, try some keyframe swaps with one of the other versions and see if they work.

And because you used Gren's cape for Batman I was able to correct the inaccurate colors Rocksteady used for Animated Batman's cape. (They made it a single color instead of the more accurate two-tone.)

1)Yank - good job on the cape - I'd like a copy of that. It was easier than setting up the included cape to Gren's armature, and it fit the mesh well when tested in game. Same with Felicia's tail - keeping the original instead of importing hers.
2)Dana - Let me know how the elementals work out and if you need anything tweaked. I see some minor cracking on the Earth Elemental's back right shoulder in-game. Looking at that. Started some work on the NWN 'wave' water elemental mentioned before. Looks like it should be easy to work with with the poly count not too high. I'll probably rig to the fx mesh as well, just the arms and spine1. It came with an 'invisible' skin that wouldn't export, but it looks like it was just a clear skin with alpha turned on. It already had uv setup and took a normal skin - I'm going to look for a basic blue water skin to put on it with alpha turned on, along with the fire elemental eyes again.
3) Anyone - minor request - I kept the white holster from Gren's Punisher for General Ross. I'd like a minor kitbash of the extras.tga to turn it to black, brown, or some more natural looking color to fit the general
4) Cranlox - portraits are always nice and something that I seem to never get around to.
5) SA - Good to hear from you. Hope things go well over the holidays and next year. I was able to find some stl's of most of Darkwing's rogues gallery, as well as Gosalyn and Muddlefoot junior. I'll try to get them in game though they're not the easiest to work with. Let me know if you want to try any of them. I'd love to see Gosalyn in-game as the Quiverwing Quack.

1) Thanks Cranlox - the General Ross holsters are perfect. Downloaded as well as the alternate Sullivan and portraits. Also the one you sent by PM.
2) Downloaded the corrected Batman Cape
3) Finished the Water Elemental and the Ancient One. The Water Elemental has two versions - male_basic and male_basic_fx. The FX version doesn't fit as will as the Fire Elemental did with the blue "flames" being emitted. Scoped onto an effects version it may look good.
The Ancient one looks good in most poses, but the long sleeves are whacked when carrying an object or pole. Not much I can do about that so far. The only thing that would probably work would be to 'shrink' the sleeves closer to the arms in Blender.

Same at you. Celebrating quaintly else, well a lot of loss incoming right now so it is what it is for the time being and I'm just trying to make the best of it however I can. Next year plans are pretty scattered given the circumstances though I'm pretty sold at moving back to the desert and settling there. I think I've had my fill of winter weather.
