I guess I'll just keep doing spider people so here's Jessica Drew in her classic outfit:

Dislike.
I've never been a fan of this costume. Part of the problem is it just looks like the character is wearing body paint. The other part is it just seems like a random arrangement of colours. Nothing really says spider to me.
Then again I've never been a big fan of Jessica Drew in general. As Spider-Woman she has nothing to do with Spider-Man so why does she have that identity? Just a character I've never really connected with.
2: Pod, I pretty much agree entirely. I disliked her from the first time I discovered her and realized she had no connection to Spider-Man. That's just stupid.

At a time when She Hulk wore a tattered hospital gown, this didn't look too bad. It doesn't look spidery, except for the underarm webbing (and the webbing depicted here is rather small). Not a bad costume, really, just why would you think this person was Spider-Woman?
When they first created Spider Woman it was a play on her pherome power and how she could use them to lure people into her "web". Kind of a, spider to the fly type thing. Of course the fact that Marvel's Spiderman was successful also helped out too.
Going off the spider to the fly idea, the costume works well. Form fitted to draw goons eyes elsewhere and such. The little web wings though kind of were a waste.
Regardless of whether or not it's "Spider" like or not, it's still a pretty nice costume. It's been drawn differently over the years, including being shown with bigger wings that do suit the costume better.
Yeah, it isn't a bad costume, just a bad concept.
