Quick question,
I was going through the the Rumble Room, creating "henchmen" characters and playing them against certain heroes and I kind of got to thinking about using other archetypes against certain heroes and what came to mind was a few socio-political characters. Anyone ever think about creating any skins or hexes of real-world bad guys? IE foreign or domestic terrorist(Islamic, Euro, "nationalistic")? Or even drug traffickers, mob wiseguys, street gangs and rioters, the kind of villains we'd likely to see in the 21st century instead of era of the game's setting? I guess without going into full specifics, but I can imagine such request wouldn't be so popular and fairly taboo, but many of the types of enemies in-game are rather 60's era or fictional characters. I would imagine even if folks want to shy away from the more controversial types, but still be interested in trying more modern-day elements that a "hero" would encounter.
Has there any been done? Anyone willing to take a crack at such?
Interesting question, Shogunn. I know that folks have imported some meshes from more modern games that provide a more updated type of minion. I forget what the game was, but there was one that gave a lot of more scuzzy, drug-dealer and gangster types that looked modern.
BG, i think you are thinking of the Kingpin characters imported from the game of that name. I believe Volsung imported them, and they are most easily found in C4's The Reformed mod. That mod also tackles some more mature themes, too. Its pretty good!
While still fictional characters, I've always hoped to see the Warriors represented in FF.

Funnily enough I have skinned the Warriors, but it's before I was any good so they are kittbashed, I'll show them but apart from the jackets they aren't my work. I will redo them one day
