Hello, I'm new to :ff: and also this forum. I'm having trouble with one particular feature under Windows 10: I can't get camera rotation to work. I've tried compatibility modes (Win 98/Me, XP SP2, etc.), as well as Run as Administrator, and force 640x480 under compatibility. I had briefly installed and tried the game about 6 months ago under Windows 8.1, and I had no problem with camera rotation. Any ideas? I'm running the Steam version of Freedom Force.
To be clear, I'm talking about the Alt + Mouse drag feature. It works fine in :ffvstr: Yes, I have selected "Camera Rotate" in Options menu.
Thanks so much for any advice you might have.

Howdy Tridens, and welcome to the community! I'm afraid that I don't know about this issue. The only thing I can suggest is to try running Steam itself in compatibility mode. That seems to help with some issues.

Thanks, BentonGray. I tried that and haven't had luck either. What is the latest on which compatibility mode to choose assuming running on Windows 10 64-bit? I'm assuming you choose the same compat. mode for both Steam and FF? FYI, Steam fails to start when I try to run in Win 98 / Me or below. Not sure if that's a Win10 thing or not.
Hmm, I've tried XP with some success, but I haven't messed with :ff: much on Win 10, unfortunately. I'm sorry I can't think of anything else to try. You COULD try different compatibility modes, (XP for Steam and 98 for the game) but I don't know what that would do. I suppose that's worth a shot.
OK, thanks again for the ideas. Hopefully someone else will have experienced or heard about this trouble. I'm stumped by this one.
