I think this has been answered before, but I get the following error message, and the game closes when I click "okay":
alert: CCampaignImp::getNextCampaignMissionDef(), invalid campaign mission index
Could someone tell me how to fix it? I vaguely remember that you erase a file, but doing that at random is probably a bad idea.
The embarrassing thing is, I think I was the one who asked about it before.
My memory isn't what it used to be, but is that the Error Message you get if you Click on "Campaign" in FFEdit? The one that leaves a "Campdef" File in your main Folder?
Maybe; that sounds familiar.
Okay, fixed that, but now in The Danger Room I have a fist instead of an arrow for a cursor, and if I tell the character to "go there", it runs off the map.
What's going on?
Hmm, that sounds like the "fist" error. Is this :ff:?
Yes it is.
Are you still using the disk version? If so, that shouldn't be happening.
What version of Windows, version of the game, etc, are you using?
I'm not using the disk version (it says it's V 1.3.0.0) running under Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility, and I'm running Windows 10 (waited 'til the last minute).
Help?
I tried fixing it on my computer to see what you could do (I have Win 10, too), but no dice :(
Sorry DG, I got distracted. Are you using the Steam or the GOG version?
There are some fixes for the fist issue here:

Using Steam, I was able to solve it by running both the game AND Steam in compatibility mode (98, I think).
Thanks!
Awesome! What worked for you, DG?
Running it in Windows 98 compatibility. Which is weird, because before Windows 10, it was doing fine in XP compatibility.
Actually, I checked when I first updated to WX, and it was fine. There was some kind of update recently that screwed up a lot of things (including my tablet drivers) that had been fine before.
