A while back I picked up AoW 3 on GOG, and I have absolutely loved it.  I haven't played the others, but I was blown away by how much fun 3 is and the interesting variety of its world.  I love that you have subterranean portions of levels and all the different races and units.  I've never been a fan of this type of turn based combat (that wasn't Jagged Alliance style), but this one has won me over.

I don't have the power to play aow 3. But I love the moddability of aowsm.

AoW 3 is on my wishlist and I've been playing the Shadow Magic campaign a bit.

I cant run 3 sadly.But Im still discovering all the crazy things you can do in the first game.

I've got a crazy mod for aowsm that replaces all the heroes. Like Xena, Red Sonya, Master of Magic, etc.

Shadow Magic is definitely a great place to start for Age of Wonders, no doubt.

And bearded, what's the mod that you're talking about? I haven't heard of it before.

I made it myself! I used Brave New World as a base. It's fun to have Conan team up with the Grey Mouser to fight Maleficent.
Want a copy? I can zip it up next time I turn on the desktop.

Does diplomacy work in AoW1?Relations and bribes dont have any effect.

I actually haven't turned on the desktop in this long. I think I will have time tonight. Where can I upload it? It might be sort of big.

Anywhere that's good for you.

Mediafire and Mega are good for hosting large files (tons of free space for users)
