Hey, folks!
Not necessarily a request, per se -- this guy had a book way back in the 80s but hasn't been used much since, and I know there aren't too many creators looking to mess with somebody this minor. But every once in awhile, I get surprised by something that was done back in the day, so I thought I'd just ask the question before moving on.
So, anybody seen this guy before?

I would have sworn I had seen an Arion way back when, maybe on NPI? I'm not always right, but my track record has been pretty good lately.

Huh...wonder if it's one of those that might have been up for a while but now lost forever. I've done the Wayback Machine with NPI before but never saw that one.
Thanks for responding, though. Sometimes, even with as long as some of us have been around here, you see someone did a skin back then that you literally would have bet money would not have been done, which is always pretty cool
I usually try to do skins no one else (except for Phantom Stranger, JK Carrier, The Vigilante, and maybe Kenn X) would do. Checking around The Wayback the last few weeks has shown me that I'm wrong in a lot of cases. Sadly, not all the links were working, so my versions are still the only ones.
I don't remember seeing Arion, hence him being a character I wanted to do one day. At this point, the hair is the worst thing to find.
Someone did an Arion for me a long time ago. I will see if it is still on my hard drive.

No worries whatsoever, DG. The old-schoolers totally appreciate the fact that you do characters such as these -- I used to think I knew a lot about this medium, but your work constantly makes me look things up, and it never gets old.
Again, if you get to him, that would be awesome. But I understand that you like to get them right, so it takes as long as it takes. I'm glad it's on your radar, to be honest

Ha! See? Unbelievable. This community never ceases to amaze me -- I would have bet money that he hadn't been done, which is almost always the first clue that somebody did it back in the day.
Let us know if you track it down!
It was for a mod I was going to make, tracking atlantis from Arion to Aquaman. The first level was going to be Arion summoning elementals to fight incoming elementals, rock paper scissors style. I can't remember who made it, but I'm sure they won't mind it being released.

Awesome -- and that mod sounds/sounded interesting!
I did the skin on a taskmaster hex, don't know if I still have it after a few crashes and new computers. I will see if by some miracle I still have it.
