Title: Need help with a different scope... Now what?
Post by: daglob on May 07, 2016, 09:21:22 PM
My Arana scope has lost its' reflections. I've looked at it in Nifscope and I admit I don't have any idea what I am looking at. Would someone be able to fix this for me please?

Sure thing, I could take a look!
It probably has something to do with the skoped pieces not referencing the lightmap of the original mesh.
Do you want to send me a copy, or is it one you've released lately?

It hasn't been released yet.

Where could I send it?

Testing Aranya out I notice that her hair moves around. Not a lot, but enough that I noticed. I put Ink's hair in the scope, figuring that since Ink did the original, it would work. It had no Niskinistance to delete, so I'm not sure what is going on. Part of it may be that the "bones" of the mesh are bigger than the transplanted body. Now, the original Female Bald mesh was smaller and at a different angle than the bones. I don't know what all this means, except that she don't reflect and her hair don't stay put.

Well, I fixed this by starting over. I think that the hair still moves a little, but not bad enough to see clearly. It still hasn't got reflections. Glow works just fine.
