As last year, create some kind of Halloween-inspired content.
Starting early since my internet access is spotty.
Thanks, pc problems here too so I need the extra mile. My bday starts in a bit though so not tonight, I'll probably be six sheets to the wind soon.
So this is happening...

Other things may be on the way too. They might even get released.

I really hope so! All of these Weird World characters that you've been showcasing have been wonderfully weird-tastic!
"Hallowteens". How Ghoulish! :D
Great set of original characters. I probably like Witch Girl the best.
Ohh my gosh! I love those guys, AA! Ha, they are just wonderfully detailed and just ooze personality (perhaps literally in Frankie's case...). Ice Maiden is my favorite. That's just such a neat design!
Well folks, if I can carve out a few minutes to finish it up, maybe I'll finally be able to release my second Ghostbusters mod... :P
Such great designs! Fantastic skins AA!!
Always happy to see you back to skin :)
Brilliant, I'd totally watch that show :D
Thanks guys. I'm trying to get all of this stuff released by Halloween. I think it is like 35+ skopes/skins and 10+ FXs. We'll see...
Wow AA, from design to execution, you take things to a whole new level every time you preview your work. I'm very excited at the prospect of a release.

Frankenpool
Frankenpool is really cool :D
That makes my day. And AA, just wow. If some big company hasn't hired you for your creativity and talent yet it's their loss and everyone else's. You never cease to amaze.
I really love the look of FrankenPool. Very Boris Karloff. :)

Awwww thanks SA.
Every group of superpowered kids needs a supervillain.

This is Jack O. Lantern. As his name implies he is based on the tradition of carving pumpkins and using them as lanterns to ward off supernatural spirits. Unfortunately instead of warding them off, Mr. Lantern collects them. Also he hang out with a bunch of mini "hims" called the Pumpkin Patch Kids - currently in progress.
Now I have a new favourite skin
Oh wow! That looks awesome AA. I can't imagine how long it took to skope those leaves.
Wooooooh. Anything with a pumpkin head. I've been meaning to do the Supernaturals version of Jack-O-Lantern for a Halloween challenge for awhile now but never got to it. That is simply stunning.
And i was just thinking a while ago, how a Pumpkin Head character would fit nicely for this challenge.
Awesome skope and skin as always AA. Really cool design.
I gotta admit, it would take a lot to top o' pumpkinhead there. I won't even try, but here is one of the Nocutrnals:

Aaaaah. He's just a big ol' pumpkinhead.
I like your aquatic creature. Kind of like Creature of the Black Lagoon meet Tomb Raider.
Jack O Lantern looks fantastic, AA.

A couple of examples using Bearded-in-Lair's pumpkin mesh.
Those look awesome, daglob
Here's my entry in the showcase. He (It?) is called The Revenant, a magic-wielding lich from the Dimension of the Undead.

Very nice, spooky.
All of these entries look really amazing!
I love Halloween!
Extremely spooky.
There's a lot of really great stuff here guys. I'm glad to see all the participation.
Fantastic stuff. Have a great Halloween everyone!
I hope everyone had a happy Halloween. A good turn out here.
Next up: Christmas Challenge!
I had an idea too late, but I'm going to work on it anyway. Will post here soon.
Please do! A little late Halloween is better than no Halloween at all.
Here is my idea. The character is Ben Cooper, aka, the Masked Man. He has a halloween bag full of 70's style masks and when he puts one on, he gets some of the powers of the mask's identity.
I am doing this by customizing male_suit to have a bag and a few new animations, and creating new fx of the different masks combined with various other fx, like the batarang. Here's an example pic of an fx:
Because I did not put an end note on the fx nif, the mask stays on until he puts on a new one, i.e. uses a different power. The other idea I had was mask ffx custom. make the masks actual objects with limited power uses.
The problem I am having is the fx doesn't match the head bone perfectly, it doesn't bob correctly, it seems more attached to the neck bone. I am thinking of maybe attaching the weapon node to the head and attaching the fx to that.
If anyone can find some good clear pics of the Ben Cooper masks to use as skins, that would be great. I have only found six.
Looks good 👍
Excellent!
