Title: NIFSkope Question
Post by: yell0w_lantern on September 03, 2015, 12:44:12 PM
I have an old transparent mesh by Bobby69/Vertex but the BIP object is visible.  How do I use NIFSkope to hide it?

Are you looking at the "Male_Ether69" Mesh?

Open up the NIF in Nifskope.
Click on the male_basic portion or body of the mesh.
You will see the tree under the Scene Root and Handle node open up
In the tree, just above the male_basic NiNode, you will see NiTriShape--BipedObject. (In the unconverted mesh I am using, it has the number 135)
Right-click on this line to pull up a drop-down menu.
Click on 'Flags" and check the box labeled Hidden.
Click "Accept" and it will disappear.

As an alternative, you could also right-click on the male_basic body itself and use the same process to hide that. Then you right-click directly on the BipedObject mentioned above, go to 'Flags' and check the Hidden box there. Just remember to go back to the Block list to unhide male_basic.
