Title: Request: Scope Piece
Post by: daglob on July 27, 2015, 10:21:42 PM
Okay, if you look at the Skin-A-Rama, on the last page, you will see a WIP of The Dress Suit, an old Doll Man adversary. I've taken the head off VX Zatara, which looks more like the version in the comics. However, it leaves an effect like the old Invisible Man movies, where there is a cut-out that shows the background behind the mesh. I had taken the bottom part of the head and folded it down into the neck, but something went horribly, horribly wrong. The end result was not usable. So, back to what works-Zatara's head is gone. Now, what can I put in the hole to fill in? On the original character, you can see the back of the collar and the label. I don't need that, exactly (but I'd use it), but I'm asking for suggestions on what to put in there.

If I remember correctly, SickAlice, WindBlown, and Hoss20 were talking about "Stencil Masks" which would fill the gap, so to speak...I think. I'm not really operating on all cylinders right now, so I may have misunderstood the concept.

Couldn't you get a disk from a tommyboy mesh, like say on of the disks on Mister Miracle's chest, and then rotate it to fill in the neck?
If it is attached to Spine1 I don't think it would move too much.

Probably. I'll definitely consider it.
