Title: ASH Vs. EVIL DEAD: The TV Series (2015) - Coming in all its Bloody Violent Glory

The new "Evil Dead" TV Series (Ash Vs. Evil Dead) was announced all of a sudden a few months ago, meaning that plans for an "Evil Dead 2" movie reboot sequel and/or a "The Evil Dead 4/Army of Darkness 2" have been put on the shelf for now.

Ohh man, I am so onboard for this! :D  I hope it is available through Netflix or the like.

It's exclusive for the STARZ movie/TV networks which most cable/sat/FiOS providers have. I think that STARZ Online will have it available in the days after initial airing and will get a DVD/Blu-Ray collected release in the Spring next year.

Sam Raimi was interviewed recently saying that all plans for Army Of Darkness 2 dramatically changed when STARZ offered them a fairly huge budget to do their sequel as long as Bruce Campbell returned as Ash. With all of the plans for the rebooted Evil Dead sequel dead in the water after the director left for another project and the only open door being STARZ they offered the network an idea for doing a series like Walking Dead and they gave them a 13 episode deal. Bruce and Ramini were thrilled to be getting not only a series but on movie networks that allowed for R-rated subject matter so they could do the Splat-Stick fans know and love the franchise for.

It looks like Bruce got back in shape for the series.  He looks good!
