Probably Saga, or the Walking Dead. Silver Surfer is up there, too.

Aphrodite IX/IXth Generation. Seconded by the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Third is Mega Man by Archie comics.

I'm not one of the against the big two persons mind you, but they keep scrambling their titles and creative teams so do to lack of consistency it's impossible for me to set a standard with them. Most of the time one of their titles gets into my favorites it ends up cancelled shortly after (Superior Foes and She-Hulk come to mind). So by default the indy comics tend to stay up there since they deliver each month.

Wow, all my favorite ongoing books are being cancel because of Secret Wars.  It used to be Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, Inhumans and Captain Marvel.  Well, at least I still have The Walking Dead, Lazarus, and Velvet

Another vote for Saga, Captain Marvel, Silver Surfer and Ms. Marvel over at Marvel, and the always dependable Astro City.  Nothing from mainstream DC at the moment.

That's easily twenty people with good taste I've seen suggest Saga. Made a note to see what's in trades at the shop.

What are your favorites comicstar1002014?

Saga is freaking awesome.  I bought the hard cover with the first 18 issues and I have the rest in single issues.

I'm still of the opinion that Ant-Man, lie Superior Foes before it, is the best book on the stands right now (even though I'm not caught up in it at the moment).  :(

DM is right, IDW is really going strong these days.  As I've said before, every time I get my comics, they're some of the best I've ever read...unfortunately, none of them are published by DC or Marvel, and none of them feature my favorite characters.  Still, the independents are really knocking it out of the park.  My favorite ongoings are DEFINITELY TMNT and G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero.  They're fantastic, creative, and good in every sense of the word.  They are precisely what comics should be, in two very different ways.  If you aren't reading them, and you're a child of the 80s, you should be!  Tied for third and occasionally bumping one of the others are the ongoing Astro City, though it's a bit more sedate and thoughtful, and Atomic Robo, which is consistently hilarious, wildly imaginative, and unmatchably fun!

Aquaman was on my list, and it was really quite good, despite the anchor around its neck that is the rest of the DC Universe, but DC just shuffled off the best team to touch Aquaman since the SAG run of the 70s.  I can't say I have much interest or hope for the new direction, which promises to be darker and grittier, and which splits Aquaman and Mera up...AGAIN.  You couldn't get me to drop a book faster if you promised a free beating with every purchase.

A little off topic: Anyone reading Valiant since their revival?
Some great stuff there.
