Title: Problems in Rumble Room
Post by: lion23dj on March 23, 2015, 11:08:14 PM
Hi all again. You will see.. I'm playing  :ffvstr: with FFX3 and all is well. Now I put the Starfire_AA and she appears perfect in Character Tool and Characters Edit. BUT when I select in the Rumble Room she disappears within seconds. Why???

Ahhh playing with other characters does not occurs

A million thanks as always

I don't recognize this right off, but maybe someone else will. Is this running the default game campaign or a mod like FFX or another?

In the meantime, you should post your script.log file to see if an odd script is running. See the FAQ (http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=49868.0) for details on enabling logging and finding the log files.

I don't understand anything. Now this happens also with Banshee_Classic_AA when previously did not happen. Also I have problems with Shapeshifter & Tempform Attributes.

But the best is that all this happens in Rumble Room: FFX EZSCRIPT MINI-MOD: ALLIES EXAMPLE ... (I use it to test the characters), but if I play in Rumble Room Game Mod: BATTLE IN THE RUMBLE ROOM ... all is OK.

?????    ?????    ?????

Any idea????

Thanks again

It looks like when the FFX script kicks in it deletes your character. It will happen if you select a character with an attribute meant for shapeshifted forms like temporary form or invuluntary form. Such a problem should not have anything to do with a mesh being used. Can you make another hero with the same Banshee_Classic_AA mesh and see if it behaves the same? One possibility that comes to mind is that maybe the disappearing hero has a duplicated 'complex' value (used to identify the characters by FFX) with another character who has an attribute like the mentioned temporary form or involuntary form.
