I saw yesterday as well.  It wasn't as good as War, but if you saw the very end, you'll notice that it's a prelude to something much bigger

Stinger was obviously setting up something bigger  ^_^ .
Gotta say Ocean Master was way cooler than ever before, even if he was a total jerk.

See, I really liked it. It did exactly what it was supposed to... gave a solid introduction to Aquaman for those people who aren't as familiar with the character. Aquaman here is a bit different from the comics, but they did a good job of making him a unique character among the rest of the league (sometimes Johns made him feel like a second Batman). Instead of being all brooding and serious, the movie gives Aquaman just a hint of the personality he had in BnB, though obviously not quite so over the top. I'm still a bit conflicted on whether it's better, but it definitely works in the context of the "animated universe" they're constructing.

Overall, I'd say this MORE than makes up for the lack of Aquaman in JL:War, and was a far more engaging version of "Throne of Atlantis" than we saw in the comics. Black Manta was about the only disappointing element (I don't get why he was even there, other than this being an Aquaman movie)

That's reassuring. Johns' Aquaman in comics was along the lines of "rrr, I'm hardcase now". Glad to hear he has more personality here.

It seems I am the only one that finds this movie mediocre (but I confess I am biased toward the whole Nu52 idea). It was not boring, development was dynamic and it had good action scenes and voice acting was good as well. Animation was good (not VERY good) although these new suit desings are ugly compared to the classic looks and even the ones in N52 comics. I also like how they placed some nice nods along (Aquaman saying 'outrageous'). My main complain is the plot or rather the lack of it. I haven't read John's story but the point of the movie was supposedely to introduce Aquaman to a broader audience. It starts with a drunk man at the bar and ends with him celebrated as the new king of Atlantis, but there is no character development in between, filled instead with action sequences. And no real emphasis on Aquamans abilities where 90% of the time he is shown brawling, once or maybe twice doing something creative. Not to mention we won't get to know much about other characters introduced. There are the bad guys Orm and Manta and they are bad because they are, no time do delve into their motives much. Now I understand the movie time is limited but obviously the makers decided there was enough time to serve more of WW/Superman romance stuff (which feels unnatural and forced btw) and other unnecessary scenes. The JL are depicted like in JL:War which means they act as douchebags a lot. Captain Marvel (I mean... Shazam) is a manchild and is annoying a lot. No traces of 'Wisdom of Solomon' here. Showing it is the early JLA years shouldn't mean making them act immature imo. The ending has a boss fight that is hardly believable to be such a problem for the whole Justice League. And after that Aquaman says something cliche and every Atlantean kneels before him, which is strange because aside from Mera none of them should know who is the guy claiming "ok, now I will be your king, my way is the way to go". So yeah, it's not really bad if you like action-oriented animation (this, JL:War, Son of Batman fall into this category), but nothing like Apocalypse, Under the Red Hood, Public Enemies, Supes vs the Elite etc. I don't think it did the character Aquaman much justice too (not comparable to Bruce Timm's JLU or the BnB Aquaman) which is bad because either the movie will flop and DC decides it should return to doing Batman/Superman movies only or it will earn $ and they will decide they should do more weak-plotted movies about other characters.

I liked it,but the same charachterisation problems from WAR are still here.In short the whole Justice League acts like jerks.

What really bother me about the movie was Wonder Woman talking under water with no air mask or anything

Well...I just watched this...and all I can say is, how very, very disappointing.  In general it was overly violent, poorly written, badly paced, and ugly in design.  It's full of 'heroes' who are largely unlikeable jerks and who blithely kill their enemies.  When we meet Aquaman, he's drunk and getting into a bar fight to save a lobster.  Yeah, that'll get people to take him seriously.  The dialog is downright painful in places, despite generally good voice acting.  Honestly, other than the violence done to a lot of characters I love, I think the biggest tragedy here is that Nathan Fillion was cast as Hal Jordan again and he was stuck with some of these lines.  Despite that, and despite the ratcheting up the jerk factor on pretty much everyone, but ESPECIALLY GL and Batman, Fillion is really entertaining.  I suppose I can't hold the League characterization against this movie, as it's a function of the New 52, as is the general level of violence and the lethal 'heroes.'  This movie has its moments, but while Aquaman gets some good action, they pay a heavy narrative price for not introducing the King of the Sea in the previous film.  We're given another directionless adult adolescent with Aquaman (reminds me of Superman from MoS), but at least he shakes it off RELATIVELY quickly and makes something of himself.  I swear, I think these stories may be an attempt to appeal to the 'failure to launch' generation.  :P

Ohh, and what a waste of Black Manta...ahh, it's just depressing me to keep thinking about this film.  Bah.
